A new blog a new beginning. The original website at xvzx.net was built with keeping just one thing in mind – creating a web presence. This was back in 2006 when I was also applying to universities across the US and wanted potential admission coordinators to know more about myself by looking me up online. Little did I know about the power of Facebook and other social networking sites. The site grew due to its helpful GRE content. I learned a lot from online forums and consolidated it on the site. Frankly, that was the only content on the main site that got regular hits. 5 years later, in 2011 the format of GRE has changed and I’m not even sure if the the materials hosted here are still integral to the exam or not. My wife is taking the exam next week and has not referred to the general guide so far – this makes me believe that the information is likely outdated. If you’d still like the old files, drop me a line below and I’ll re-upload them.
Time flew and I found myself at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA where I met some of my best friends in life – they’re family now. I updated the blog as much as I could without paying much attention to the main site. The gallery got little love as well. I would upload a few pics here and there but nothing to keep myself motivated to post more. During residency, it was tougher trying to maintain 3 different sites. Now the time is ripe to consolidate the sites. My blog, incongruous balderdash, continues to host my ramblings. The gallery has been completely removed in favor of Facebook to share pictures of friends and family. This new blog, Aperture Log, will host my rekindled zest for photography. It’s time to turn on a new phase in life
